FILMS RELEASING TOMORROW TO FACE TOUGH TIME!
We have often seen multiple small-budget films releasing together and facing a tough time. Something similar is going to happen tomorrow and at the same time, it’s going to be an exception. Some 6 films will release tomorrow and the awareness for these movies is so low that reports of shows getting cancelled in the weekend itself is going to happen. A brief analysis of these films:
SAAT UCHHAKKEY: The film boasts of an impressive cast – Manoj Bajpayee, Kay Kay Menon, Anupam Kher, Vijay Raaz and Annu Kapoor. It is produced by Neeraj Pandey’s partner Shital Bhatia and it has been ready since a long time. But since it has abuses, it faced problems at the Censors, expectedly. This can be a fun film but awareness is hardly there.
BEIIMAAN LOVE: It stars Sunny Leone and Rajniesh Duggall. Just like the recent Sunny Leone’s releases, the excitement for this film is hardly there. Even the music has not caught on.
ANNA: This is a biopic of the very popular Anna Hazare. Shashank Udapurkar, the director of the film is also the lead. He does look like Anna but at the same time, since he’s not a popular face and the trailer hasn’t made a mark, the buzz is hardly there.
LOVE DAY: The film stars Bigg Boss sensation Ajaz Khan. The title of the film has double connotations and yet, the youth is hardly excited to buy the ticket and watch the film.
FUDDU: The film has been in the making since close to 2 years. More than the film and it’s plot, it’s the songs done by Sunny Leone and Gauahar Khan that have made waves.
MOTU PATLU – KING OF KINGS: This is a popular series for kids and the makers have released it at a time when the Diwali vacations have just commenced or are about to start. But the animation is sub-standard, especially when compared to the films churned out by Hollywood. Hence, it’s difficult to say if viewers will buy expensive multiplex 3D ticket and come in hordes to see the film.

Sunny Leone-Gauahar Khan war heats up over item song in Fuddu?

DNA (October 6, 2016)
Sunny Leone and Gauahar Khan have each worked on an
item song in Fuddu and both claim that theirs is hotter. A source
reveals, “Sunny’s song featuring Sharman Joshi Tu Zaroorat Nahi, Tu
Zaroori Hai is doing well on the charts and even has a shayari recited
by Ranbir Kapoor.”
On the other hand, Singer Jasmine Sandlas was to feature with Gauahar on her song, but the latter wanted a solo and hence, Jasmine wasn’t featured. “Khan further refused to add her name to the film poster. Her team is claiming that she was roped in as Sunny’s song didn’t leave much of an impact. Which isn’t the case at all. The makers haven’t released Gauahar’s song yet,” shares the source.
Well, all we can can say is, the makers feel that Sunny zaroori hai, aur Gauahar ki zaroorat nahi.”
Sunny Leone leaves field clear for M S Dhoni - The Untold Story

Only M S Dhoni - The Untold Story will be arriving on the big screen this Friday. Though earlier there were indications that Sunny Leone’s Beiimaan Love will be releasing on the same day, those plans have now been quashed
DNA (September 27, 2016)
Sunny Leone’s Beiimaan Love is on hold till next month.
Confirms our source, “Yes, the film has now been pushed all the way to
October 14.” Reason for this is twofold. First and foremost, Neeraj
Pandey’s M S Dhoni — The Untold Story is releasing on a record count of
screens, which means there is just no chance for any other film to be
find any space in theatres. Beiimaan Love wouldn’t have got more than
two-three shows per screen, which is bad for a film.
“Sunny’s last hit was Ragini MMS 2 (2014) and ever since then she has delivered flops in the form of Ek Paheli Leela, Kuch Kuch Locha Hai, Mastizaade and One Night Stand. Her Tina and Lolo is stuck for a long time. She needs a Box Office success badly and to arrive alongside the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer would have been professional harakiri,” our trade expert adds.
It remains to be seen if the makers of Beiimaan Love will now make use of the three weeks available to them and pitch the film correctly. For Sunny’s fans there is a double treat awaiting on October 14. A non-starcast affair Fuddu releases on the same day and the film (again a delayed affair) features her special song appearance (Tu Zaroorat Nahi Tu Zaroori Hai) with Sharman Joshi.

BOMBAY TIMES (September 20, 2016)
With changing times in Bollywood, one thing has been constant -that content is the most important
aspect of a film to draw audiences to cinemas. The upcoming Fuddu
promises to be one such movie that is made with a heart. Featuring
newcomers, it talks about the hardships faced by a middle-class family
in the hustle and bustle of the city, albeit with a dose of laughter.
The realistic film expresses the daily nuisance of urban life.
Interestingly, the producers have got industry support for their film. While Sunny Leone and Sharman Joshi have made a special appearance in the song Tu Zaroorat Nahin, Ranbir Kapoor has lifted the sensuous number with his shayari.
With the song releasing today, producers of this comedy, Pradeep Gupta and Mahima Gupta, echo, “Sunny and Sharman have made a special appearance in this song, and their presence would surely give an impetus to reach out to more people. We are grateful to them for being a part of our labour of love.“
Co-producers Gandharv Sachdev and Pawan Kumar Sachdev add, “We have shown the undiscovered side of Sunny and Sharman, who have created a storm in this video and we are thankful to Ranbir for expressing his emotional side via some intense shayari. Nobody could have done it better than him.“
Fuddu, presented by Mahima Productions in association with Paradiso Productions and ViaMonk Motion Pictures, releases October 14.

Kaif’s team claims she didn’t back out
Mohar Basu (MID-DAY; September 17, 2016)
The much-speculated reunion of ex-flames Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif for upcoming rom-com, Fuddu, has come to a naught. The two were supposed to recite shayaris for a romantic track in the film, but the actress has apparently pulled out of it. The film in question is the directorial debut of Sunil Subramani, who has assisted Anurag Basu. It was the filmmaker who convinced Ranbir to be part of his protégé’s project. Sunil and Ranbir, too, go back a long way.
A unit hand says, “The makers had approached them to recite a few couplets. Ranbir obliged, but Kat backed out. The producers tried their best to get her on board, but she wasn’t comfortable doing it. Their next film, Anurag’s Jagga Jasoos, is a commitment they are both deeply invested in, so they can’t back out from that. But, Fuddu was a favour for a friend and she decided not to keep her side of the promise.”
Katrina’s spokesperson, however, maintains, “She was supposed to do a voice-over for Fuddu, which she recorded long ago. She hasn’t backed out of it.”
The film’s producer, Pradeep Gupta, on the other hand, confirms that the actress ditched the offer: “It is sad that Katrina couldn’t be part of the project. But, in any case, I am sure her best wishes are with us. We are glad Ranbir could make time for our film.”
Interestingly, the film’s poster also credits Ranbir alone for the shayari; there is no mention of Katrina anymore.
Katrina Kaif has not signed another film with Ranbir Kapoor?

Nayandeep Rakshit (DNA; July 29, 2016)
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s Jagga Jasoos will hit
screens next year and even before the film’s principal shooting wraps
up, reports of the two coming together in another film called Fuddu
have cropped up.
Now, an insider tells us that’s completely untrue. “Katrina is not at all a part of the project. And it has nothing to do with Ranbir as well. She was never approached for the film and she finds it odd how people quickly the rumours began and spread.”
Another source from the production tells us, “The makers know that their film is a small-budget project and are just merely trying to gain publicity by bringing in Kat’s name along with Ranbir’s. It’s true that RK has recited a poem in the film. But Kat has not even done that much. To figure out how these stories erupted, is a no-brainer.”

Sanyukta Iyer (MUMBAI MIRROR; July 1, 2016)
Sunil Subramani who has
assisted filmmaker Anurag Basu on several films over the last 17 years
is all set to make his directorial debut with Fuddu, a quirky love story
co-produced by Pradeep and Mahima Gupta, Pawan Kumar Sharma and
Gandharv Sachdev, which is scheduled to release in 2017. The film debuts
Shubham and Swati Kapoor in the lead and Anurag's Jagga Jasoos stars,
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, in cameos. “The duo will recite a
romantic poem to steady the protagonist after his wife leaves him and
his family disowns him,“ reveals a source. Fuddu follows
Benaras-born Mohan's emotional turmoil after he gets married and moves into a one-room house in a
cramped Mumbai locality.
The film wrapped up in July 2015 and premiered at the Film Bazaar of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa last December. “And it's not just Ranbir and Katrina who are making a special appearance,“ the source further reveals. “In a first-of-its-kind turn, Sunny Leone will be grooving as Ranbir and Katrina recite their love ditty. She came on board a month ago and filmed the song earlier this week,“ the source adds.

Producer of Fuddu to file complaint against Manoj Tyagi over payment issues

Sonali Joshi Pitale (MID-DAY; October 4, 2014)
After a few months, Pradeep is said to have assured Manoj that he would work with him on another project, especially since he had paid Manoj Rs 5 lakh in advance. “Meanwhile, I liked the concept of Fuddu and decided to go ahead with this film. Accordingly, I asked writer Pawan Kumar to write the script. Then all of a sudden, Manoj called me and asked me about my film. He started out by speaking cordially, but later on, accused me of cheating him by not offering him another film. What’s more, he is now demanding a payment of Rs 3 lakh from me. But I cannot give him the money as I have not worked with him at all. In fact, he should return my money. When I told him this, he abused me and I am now going to register a case against him in Delhi and Mumbai.”
When contacted, Manoj, who has won two National Awards — one each for Page 3 and Aparahan — denied that he had had any argument with Pradeep.
