MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING has taken its business to 82 crore nett till date as it heads for a decent third week. The business of the film has been decent in week two and week three with the first week being a let down. It seems the film will collect around the 90 crore nett in the first three weeks. 

The film should manage to hit the 100 crore nett mark despite the low first week business though its unlikely to do as much as the the last film in the franchise.

The film still has an outside shot at 100 crore nett but a lot depends on the third weekend where it has to hold up very well. The film will have collections in the 76-77 crore nett region after two weeks. The collections of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: DEAD RECKONING - PART ONE, which was the last film of the series in 2023, look out of reach at the moment.

The film is looking for a 55-60 crore nett finish and this will be coming with the competition of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE. The two Hollywood films will put up 150 crore nett between them which is a very good result as the under performance of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING is compensated by the good numbers of FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES.

The second weekend has collected around 19 crore nett which is a good number and a good hold as the film did not show a drop on Friday. The first week collections over six days were just a little over 50 crore nett and that is what has held the film back.

The total collections of the film now stand at 70 crore nett which gives the film a shot at 100 crore nett which looked impossible post the first weekend. A lot though depends on the weekend collections as that is when the film does better like most Hollywood releases. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT (2018) number of 80 crore nett look easy but 100 crore nett plus of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: DEAD RECKONING - PART ONE is still a task unless its gets a solid run for 3-4 weeks.

Then its about where the Friday lands and if it can be around its Thursday number, then it can go on and do average business but that is a big ask.

This film is probably targeting the collections of MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT (2018) which were around 80 crore nett unless the Friday holds up as mentioned above.

The first week (six days) is looking to be around 53-54 crore nett. The film is dependent on the second week if it is to come out with a 80-90 crore nett total.

This sort of final number will make it the second highest of the franchise but that is not really good enough. The collections have also fallen in the South but still the film has done better there due to the very good collections on Saturday and Sunday.

The film had MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING for competition which is a big franchise in India but FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES has come out well. It looks pretty much unaffected by the bigger Hollywood film. These numbers are big for the franchise as the last one in 2011 did only around 1 crore nett.

It remains to be seen how the film goes over the weekdays but these weekend numbers are good enough to ensure the film is a success as far as the India market goes.

FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES has pretty good collections as it collected 4.25 crore nett on day one which was the fourth highest opening day collection for a Hollywood horror film in India. This includes some paid previews but taking them out, it is still fourth best horror opening after THE NUN, THE CONJURING 2 and ANNABELLE: CREATION. The film collected 5 crore nett on Friday despite losing screens for a two day collection of 9.25 crore nett.

FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES is doing well at the box office with collections of almost 15 crore nett in three days and its going to be around 20 crore nett over the first four days. The Saturday numbers are good considering the competition from MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – THE FINAL RECKONING. The franchise has not seen box office collections before in India although the last part FINAL DESTINATION 5 did get a limited release in 2011 with a very limited response.
