FAST & FURIOUS: HOBBS & SHAW had a pretty good weekend but collections dropped fast thereafter as the film did not find appreciation among the paying public. The film collected 53.25 crore nett in its first week which is not bad but the problem is the film struggled to keep afloat on the weekdays.

FAST & FURIOUS 8 grossed almost 87 crore nett while FAST & FURIOUS 7 grossed almost 98 crore nett and this film has no chance to reach the 87 crore nett mark of the last film. Even 75 crore nett looks pretty much impossible so the franchise is on a downward slide as far as business in India is concerned.

The dubbed versions of FAST & FURIOUS 7 were excellent while this one has performed poorly in its dubbed versions. The Friday number will tell where this film can go but it will be a shortened six day week due to the Independence Day releases.

As can be seen by the above, the film will manage to cross ALADDIN but that's about it but it has a far higher brand value than an ALADDIN and should have been competing with CAPTAIN MARVEL and SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME at the very least.

The collections of FAST & FURIOUS: HOBBS & SHAW till date are as follows.
Friday - 11,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 11,75,00,000 apprx

FAST & FURIOUS: HOBBS & SHAW continues to drop fast as it collected 3.75 crore nett on Wednesday and is now sure to stay well below the top films of released this year.

2. The Lion King - 140 crore apprx (19 days)

FAST & FURIOUS: HOBBS & SHAW continued to slide on Tuesday as collections went down 15% after the fall on Monday. The film collected 4.25 crore nett on Tuesday taking its total to 46.25 crore nett. The first week business of the film will now fall short of 55 crore nett

The film has not found appreciation and is likely to struggle post the first week and it will be a shortened second week and its run will almost come to an end when BATLA HOUSE and MISSION MANGAL release. The film will fall well short of the last two films of the franchise.

The collections of FAST & FURIOUS: HOBBS & SHAW are as follows.

KHANDAANI SHAFAKHANA dropped more on Tuesday and will close the week out at 4 crore nett. This is worse than last week's ARJUN PATIALA which had a 6 crore nett first week.

The collections of KHANDAANI SHAFAKHANA are as follows.
Friday - 75,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 85,00,000 apprx

FAST & FURIOUS: HOBBS & SHAW saw a drop in collections as it collected 4.75-5 crore nett on Monday. The film has dropped around 55% plus from its Friday collections which leaves it with pretty much no chance to beat the last two films of the franchise. The fall is on the wrong side of 50%. The collections of the film so far are around 42 crore nett and the first week should finish at around 55 crore nett.

The writing was on the wall for the film on Saturday as reports were not too good in Hindi markets but there is always the South factor for Hollywood films which could push the film. But here South is also pretty much like the rest of the country. The trade in Mumbai had expected this film to be a blockbuster but it looks like it wont even be a hit going by the drop on Monday.

The collections of FAST & FURIOUS: HOBBS & SHAW are as follows.
Friday - 11,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 11,75,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 14,25,00,000 apprx
Monday - 5,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 42,00,00,000 apprx

KHANDAANI SHAFAKHANA is a dead duck on Monday as collections dropped 55% from the horribly low first day. The film collected just 35 lakhs nett on Monday and will just be in cinemas for one week. The film will close the week at around 4.25 crore nett.

The collections of KHANDAANI SHAFAKHANA are as follows.
Friday - 75,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 85,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 1,25,00,000 apprx
Monday - 35,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 3,20,00,000 apprx

FAST & FURIOUS: HOBBS & SHAW had a good weekend of 37 crore nett but the film could not really push higher over the weekend. Sunday saw good growth but it came after a flat Saturday which meant the collections on Sunday were lower than they should have been. A film like SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME had a four day weekend and went to 16 crore nett on Sunday and that film was not a huge HIT as such. FAST & FURIOUS is a bigger brand in India than SPIDER-MAN as the previous films have done better than the SPIDER-MAN films but this one could struggle in the long run and even do less business than the last couple of installments of the franchise.

The collections of FAST & FURIOUS: HOBBS & SHAW are as follows.
Friday - 11,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 11,75,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 14,25,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 37,00,00,000 apprx

KHANDAANI SHAFAKHANA had a very poor weekend of under 3 crore nett and is a goner. The film managed to go up on Sunday but that hardly mattered with such low numbers.

The collections of KHANDAANI SHAFAKHANA are as follows.
Friday - 75,00,000
Saturday - 85,00,000
Sunday - 1,25,00,000
TOTAL - 2,85,00,000

FAST & FURIOUS: HOBBS & SHAW was flat on Saturday with limited growth as it collected 11 crore nett. The film opened to good numbers but for this genre and franchise it should have been better. This limited growth on Saturday could mean that Sunday also does not go too far and although the weekend will still be pretty good, it could struggle thereafter. The two day business of the film is 22.75 crore nett.

The collections of FAST & FURIOUS: HOBBS & SHAW are as follows.
Friday - 11,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 11,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 22,75,00,000 apprx

KHANDAANI SHAFAKHANA is a very poor fate as Saturday collected hardly 10% more than Friday. The film is doing worse than last week's ARJUN PATIALA.

The collections of KHANDAANI SHAFAKHANA are as follows.
Friday - 75,00,000
Saturday - 85,00,000
TOTAL - 1,60,00,000
