EK VILLAIN RETURNS had a so so second weekend as it held well on Friday but could not push higher on Saturday. The Sunday growth was good but it needed to come from a higher Saturday which should have gone close to double.

The weekend collections of the film were 6.25 crore nett which leaves the film in line for a 10 crore nett second week as it will be shortened second week with LAAL SINGH CHADDHA and RAKSHA BANDHAN releasing on Thursday. The film has not really been able to go on from a decent first weekend but this is because of the content of the film which has not really worked. The film had a chance on the initial but has not gone through.

The collections of EK VILLAIN RETURNS till date are as follows.

Week One - 30,63,00,000

Friday - 1,50,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 2,00,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 2,75,00,000 apprx

Second Weekend - 6,25,00,000 apprx

EK VILLAIN RETURNS showed a decent hold on its second Friday as it collected in the 1.50 crore nett. There is a minimal drop from Thursday which means there should some decent second week business for the film as long as the growth comes on the second Saturday.

The overall collections of the film are around 32.50 crore nett and if the film could get to 45-50 crore nett from here it will be pretty decent but it will need some business post the big Raksha Bandhan releases on Thursday.
