DIL DHADAKNE DO grossed a fair 16 crore nett in week two taking its total to 71 crore nett. The drop is around 70% week on week which is average trending. The film has done well in five cities and eventually there is a limit to where a film can go when only five cities are performing no matter how well.
The film failed to get support outside the metros and this will probably limit the final business of the film to around 77-78 crore nett.
The performance is better in Mumbai and South with Mumbai collecting around 25 crore nett in two weeks and Mysore around 5 crore nett after two weeks

DIL DHADAKNE DO held up well on the weekdays as it grossed around 55 crore nett in week one. The figure is pretty good for a film which is just only really collecting in a few cities as smaller centres have not taken to the film from day one.
The film has done very well in Mumbai and Mysore where it set new first week highs for the year. In Mumbai it has grossed nearly 20 crore nett whereas the previous high was GABBAR IS BACK at around 19.50 crore nett. In Mysore it has grossed 3.85 crore nett beating TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS at 3.50 crore nett.
------------------------------------
DIL DHADAKNE DO grossed around 2.25 crore nett on its eighth day. The drop is around 35% from the previous day which is reasonable as there were two big new releases with HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI and JURASSIC WORLD. The film should show a big jump on Saturday and head towards the 10 crore nett mark for the weekend.
The film has only done well in the metros which will curtail the eventual final business. The film is probably heading for lifetime business in the range of 80 crore nett.
It may do a little more if it can survive after the release of ABCD 2 as then it will hang around in theatres till the release of BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN due to a weak flow of releases.
