DHURANDHAR had another record of many as it collected 12 crore nett plus in its seventh week and beat the 8.50 crore nett of STREE 2. It is the first film in history to hit double digits in week seven. The hold is still strong in week seven as it drops less than 50% from the previous week but this will change with the release of BORDER 2.

The total collections of the film stand at 778 crore nett and there will be a little more to come but it is easily the highest grossing original Hindi film industry as it beats the STREE 2 total by a phenomenal 200 crore nett. The film will also be beating PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE by around 45 crore nett though its not as a big as that film as footfalls are less and also PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE did the numbers with a limited South. But there is the part 2 of DHURANDHAR coming; so, the chance is there to beat PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE, where part one fell short, especially in terms of admits.

The film will end with around 240 crore nett in Mumbai and it will be 175 crore nett in Delhi/UP, which is easily highest number ever. East Punjab is ditto Delhi/UP as it will close with a huge 72 crore nett plus.

DHURANDHAR collected 7.50 crore nett in its seventh weekend which is another record. In other words, it has smashed every record in the book from week two till the seventh week. There's no doubt that there will be another record at the end of the week also as it comfortably collects over 10 crore nett. The overall total for the film is 775 crore nett after the seventh weekend.

The standout performance of the film is Mysore with around 70 crore nett up on the board. Its going to be among the top ten films in the circuit and this includes all the South Indian films, be it from the local Kannada industry or the other South industries. This is a huge feat as the only film to stand at this level was SHOLAY which was the highest grosser ever in Mysore beating all Kannada films released before despite being in Hindi. This is not to say DHURANDHAR is a SHOLAY but in this circuit, the record it has set is something you cant compare with any other Hindi film apart from SHOLAY.

DHURANDHAR had another record collection as it collected 1.50 crore nett on its seventh Friday. There is a drop from the previous day but it is still the highest collection ever for a seventh Friday. There has be no film which has done 1 crore nett on the seventh Friday. So despite the drop, the record has been made by a considerable margin.

The films should see huge growth over the weekend and will target a double digit seventh week which will also be a first. The total collections of the film at almost 770 crore nett and now the film is probably looking at a finish of 785 crore nett. This will will be 50 crore nett than PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE and a huge 200 crore nett more than STREE 2 which was the highest grossing original Hindi film before DHURANDHAR .

PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE  had a limited release in South but here DHURANDHAR has gone 50 crore nett higher. Hence, the fair value of both films in terms of collections would be same. The difference is that PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE went deeper with higher business in the smaller centres and single screens which has led to higher footfalls.
