Crew collects 58.07 cr in 11 days

CREW had a pretty good second weekend collecting around 14 crore nett which takes the total of the film to 56.50 crore nett. The film saw good numbers on Friday due to the buy one get one free offer but then because of the extra business on Friday, there was less growth on Saturday.
The business was flat on Sunday which is pretty much the course for a film which has a heavily loaded ratio coming from urban centres. The comparison for the film is TERI BAATON MEIN AISA ULJHA JIYA and till date, the business is pretty much similar to the film but it wont have the strength of that film in the long term.
This is just not because the Eid releases are in the way but there is a noticeable difference in business in the mass circuits. This will hit in weekdays business. The target for CREW is probably to get around 70 crore nett lifetime business which does not look far but is still not easy.

Week One - 42,32,00,000
Friday - 3,65,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 5,25,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 5,25,00,000 apprx
Second Weekend - 14,15,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 56,47,00,000 apprx

CREW saw a drop in collections on its second Monday as it collected a little over 1.50 crore nett. The Friday numbers of the film were inflated by the buy one get one free offer but even allowing for that, there is a drop in collections.
The film has collected 58 crore nett plus till now and the second week stands at 15.75 crore nett after 4 days. Its looking a 19 crore nett second week as the Eid holiday should compensate for the showcasing hit the film will take on Thursday.
There may well be incentives as the new films arrive which can help the collections by a few lakhs but not its about how much this film can collect in week three. It will be over 60 crore nett in two weeks but its impossible to say what will happen after the two new releases as it is pretty much an open period for many weeks.

CREW showed a big jump on its second Friday as it collected 3.5-3.75 crore nett as it was helped by the buy one get one offer. There was a good chance of a jump anyway as there were no major releases. Generally the Friday has seen strong holds by the holdovers but with the offer, CREW probably doubled its growth.
The offer is not there over the weekend. Hence, the growth today will tell how much the offer helped the film. The film was feeling the heat towards the end of the first week but the second Friday has really give the film a boost and that 75 crore nett mark is realistic again though a lot depends on the growth on Saturday.
The total business of the film stands at 47 crore nett now and the film does have shot at 20 crore nett or close for the second week. But it all depends on the Saturday growth and because of the offer, it may not be like what normally happens on the second Sunday.
