CRAZXY collected 60 lakhs nett on Monday which is a drop which is a drop of 25% but its driven by a buy one get one free offer. So, you have the makers collections in there with the free tickets. It makes the trend seem decent on paper but eventually 60 lakhs nett is nothing and and its coming with paid free tickets.

Films that did not do well like LOVEYAPA and MERE HUSBAND KI BIWI had these type of collections on Monday without the offer. The film has faced rejection but these sort of things happening is either refusal to accept or an attempt for some perception that the audience has actually liked film which is far from the truth.

SUPERBOYS OF MALEGAON had low collections on its first Monday and has also faced total rejection. The collections of this films were lower than MERE HUSBAND KI BIWI with that film being on its second Monday and that film itself has not down well.

The two main releases of the week saw dull collections which again is on the expected lines as they did not have much going for them. CRAZXY is a film from the makers of TUMBBAD which saw a successful re-release last year. The films seems to be some sort of thriller but again like many other films, its for a very niche audience.

The film has collected in the 75-85 lakh nett zone which is actually not that bad considering no face value but the genre is such that it needs a better opening to really stand a chance at the box office. The film has beaten the competition of SUPERBOYS OF MALEGAON but that hardly means much for the film.

The other release, SUPERBOYS OF MALEGAON, collected 40-45 lakhs nett on its first day but again nothing much is expected as a film like this would hardly have an audience. The trailer itself is hardly watchable so not much can be expected in the theatres. The business is here is mainly limited to the bigger multiplexes. Hence, it may have chances of higher growth than CRAZXY but there is not much of an audience out there for this film.

The holdover, MERE HUSBAND KI BIWI, collected around 25 lakhs nett on its eight day which is a very low collection but considering the earnings of the new releases on day one, it does not look too bad. The film will not be going anywhere and will wrap up at around 8 crore nett.
