CHHICHHORE had fantastic third week collections of 22.50 crore nett plus which is the third best third week of the year after URI (37.06 crore nett) and KABIR SINGH (36.51 crore nett). The film comfortably beat the third week numbers of bigger films like SUPER 30, MISSION MANGAL, TOTAL DHAMAAL and KESARI.

The film now has a three week total of 128 crore nett and it should go on and beat the numbers of GULLY BOY which is the ninth highest grosser of the year at 134 crore nett plus but it will not be able to reach the likes of KESARI, TOTAL DHAMAAL, SAAHO (Hindi) and SUPER 30 who are all in that 150 crore nett range. Like DREAM GIRL, the film should hold steady on the fourth Friday due to a lack of competition but it will be a shortened third week as collections will come down when WAR releases of Wednesday.

CHHICHHORE had the third best third weekend of 2019 after URI and KABIR SINGH and now has a total of 120 crore nett after its third weekend. The film is now looking to certain to beat the numbers of GULLY BOY which stands as the ninth highest NETT grosser at around 134 crore nett.

Although difficult, there is an outside chance that it could beat the 8th placed film SUPER 30 also though for that it would have to collect well after the release of WAR next week. Coincidentally SUPER 30 was also an education based film and it also came from the same banner as CHHICHHORE which means two educational based HIT films in the space of two months from Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

The film is also the highest NETT grosser for the hero Sushant Singh Rajput as it crosses the 119 crore nett of M S DHONI - THE UNTOLD STORY and it should also be able to beat the GROSS of that film which stands at 157 crore.

CHHICHHORE was super strong on the third Friday as it collected 3 crore nett. The drop was hardly 10% from the Thursday which is better than last week when it dropped 25% plus. Last week saw the competition of DREAM GIRL while this week the releases were weaker which enabled the film to hold better.

The collections of the film are now 108.50 crore nett and the 140 crore nett plus mark looks a real possibility. The film can beat the numbers of GULLY BOY which is 9th highest grosser this year and can also beat a film like BADHAAI HO which is the top grosser in this sort of genre with no major stars.
