CHHICHHORE had an extraordinary third weekend even though the film was unable to grow on Sunday as it was the start of Navratri and there was flooding in Bihar and Easter UP which meant collections got affected. The forth weekend was still the second best of the year after URI as it beat the numbers of KABIR SINGH. It was the third highest fourth weekend ever after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION and URI.

DREAM GIRL almost doubled its collections on the third Saturday as it crossed the 117 crore nett mark. The third weekend business of DREAM GIRL is heading for better numbers than what CHHICHHORE did in its third weekend. CHHICHHORE collected 15.15 crore nett and DREAM GIRL is on 9.25 crore nett after two two days. Even a flat Sunday will see it beat the CHHICHHORE numbers.

CHHICHHORE is extraordinary in the fourth weekend as it looks set to record the third best fourth weekend of all time. The film will beat KABIR SINGH if the Sunday numbers come in as expected. KABIR SINGH collected a little under 10 crore nett in the fourth weekend and CHHICHHORE will beat that even if Sunday is flat.

CHHICHHORE is making history of its own on the fourth Friday as it records one of the highest fourth Friday numbers ever. The film collected in the 2.25-2.50 crore nett which is in the same range as films like KABIR SINGH, 3 IDIOTS and DANGAL. The only films two films which are ahead of this number in history are BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION and URI.

The collections have improved from Thursday as there were no new releases which were going to bring in an audience. The only minor competition was the Hollywood animation release ABOMINABLE which was hardly going to affect the likes of CHHICHHORE and DREAM GIRL. There were no releases as WAR opens on Wednesday. CHHICHHORE had fantastic third week collections of 22.50 crore nett plus which is the third best third week of the year after URI (37.06 crore nett) and KABIR SINGH (36.51 crore nett). The film comfortably beat the third week numbers of bigger films like SUPER 30, MISSION MANGAL, TOTAL DHAMAAL and KESARI.

The film now has a three week total of 128 crore nett and it should go on and beat the numbers of GULLY BOY which is the ninth highest grosser of the year at 134 crore nett plus but it will not be able to reach the likes of KESARI, TOTAL DHAMAAL, SAAHO (Hindi) and SUPER 30 who are all in that 150 crore nett range. Like DREAM GIRL, the film should hold steady on the fourth Friday due to a lack of competition but it will be a shortened third week as collections will come down when WAR releases of Wednesday.

CHHICHHORE had the third best third weekend of 2019 after URI and KABIR SINGH and now has a total of 120 crore nett after its third weekend. The film is now looking to certain to beat the numbers of GULLY BOY which stands as the ninth highest NETT grosser at around 134 crore nett.

Although difficult, there is an outside chance that it could beat the 8th placed film SUPER 30 also though for that it would have to collect well after the release of WAR next week. Coincidentally SUPER 30 was also an education based film and it also came from the same banner as CHHICHHORE which means two educational based HIT films in the space of two months from Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

The film is also the highest NETT grosser for the hero Sushant Singh Rajput as it crosses the 119 crore nett of M S DHONI - THE UNTOLD STORY and it should also be able to beat the GROSS of that film which stands at 157 crore.

The second week collections are the fourth best of the year after KABIR SINGH, URI and MISSION MANGAL. The second week total so far is 32 crore nett in five days and it should finish in the 39 crore nett which would be an excellent figure for Week 2.

The film is a SUPER HIT though it will have to keep on getting numbers to remain in the top ten films of the year as DREAM GIRL is chasing. Whichever of these two films comes out on top will get into the top ten unless of course they both cross the 135 crore nett mark. CHHICHHORE is maintaining very well with a 3.75-4 crore nett second Monday. The total collections of the film are 95 crore nett beating the likes of DE DE PYAAR DE, MANIKARNIKA - THE QUEEN OF JHANSI and LUKA CHUPPI. The collections in the second week are so far 28.25 crore nett and the second week can finish with 38-39 crore nett which is fantastic.

The film is looking at around the 135 crore nett lifetime business on the present trend but it all depends on the third Friday. It does not have strong competition this week like DREAM GIRL last Friday but that does not mean it will hold up better as a lot depends on how much of the potential audience is consumed till date. CHHICHHORE had a fantastic second weekend as it recorded collections of 24.50 crore nett is the fourth best second weekend of the year after KABIR SINGH, URI and MISSION MANGAL and these three films are also the three biggest HITS of the year and CHHICHHORE is likely to be in fourth place.

The ten day numbers of the film are over 91 crore nett and the film will top the 100 crore nett mark before the end of the week. The film is best in Delhi/UP with figures of almost 23 crore nett while Mumbai is around 27 crore nett which could have been better but collections in Maharashtra outside Mumbai city and Pune are average.

The film still can cover a lot of ground as it has held up so well with the competition of DREAM GIRL and competition for the next couple of weeks is weaker until the release of WAR in early October.

The film now stands at 80.50 crore nett in nine days and it can clear the business of films like DE DE PYAAR DE, MANIKARNIKA - THE QUEEN OF JHANSI, LUKA CHUPPI, BATLA HOUSE and BADLA in just ten days.

It is the best sustaining film of the year after URI and KABIR SINGH and it has chances of putting up a 40 crore nett second week which would have been a decent number for this film in the first week. The lifetime will probably be determined by the business next Friday but it should go on and beat the likes of STREE, RAAZI and BADHAAI HO.

CHHICHHORE was rock steady on its second Friday despite competition from DREAM GIRL as it collected 5.25 crore nett and took its total to 72 crore nett. The drop in under 30% from the previous day and the film is just 25% down from the first day.

The film started with decent collections in Delhi/UP only but is excellent in both Delhi/UP and Mumbai now. There will be a huge growth for the film on Saturday and Sunday and it should clear the 100 crore nett mark by the end of the week if this expected growth comes. CHHICHHORE recorded very good first week numbers of around 67 crore nett as it came into its own over the weekdays. The weekend performance of the film was decent but the weekdays were extraordinary as all the weekdays held at higher levels than the first day. The lowest collection for the film over the first seven days came on day one.

The Thursday collections were helped as it was last day of Ganpati and so all films went up across Mumbai circuit. The film has collected in seven days what BADHAAI HO collected in its extended eight day first week. The film is a SUPER HIT as it is sure to sustain well on its second Friday even with the release of DREAM GIRL which will have a similar target audience of the multiplexes in the top 15-20 cities. This makes it the second best Tuesday of the year after KABIR SINGH which was 16.30 crore nett. The other big Tuesdays were URI at 9.60 crore nett and SAAHO (Hindi) at 8.92 crore nett and TOTAL DHAMAAL at 8.63 crore nett though none of these other films had a holiday.

This has taken the total of the film to 52.50 crore nett and the film can finish around the 65 crore nett though it depends where the film lands today as Monday evening and Tuesday were helped by the holiday factor. At the moment the weekday trend of CHHICHHORE is the best this year outside URI and KABIR SINGH and the film looks like becoming a SUPER HIT film.

CHHICHHORE was excellent on Monday as it collected 7.75 crore nett which is 10% higher than Monday. It is the second film to have higher collections on Monday than Friday after URI. That film went up around 25% on Monday but even here this 10% growth means this film could go anywhere now.

The Monday collections are better than all the big sleeper HITS of last year be it BADHAAI HO, RAAZI or STREE. The total collections of the film are 42.75 crore in four days and the week should be in the 60-65 crore nett depending on the jump its gets on Muharram today.

The Monday figures have come on lower weekday ticket rates at multiplexes which will mean the footfalls are around 20-25% more than the first day. The film has around 90% business coming from multiplexes as the single screens have not performed.

CHHICHHORE did well over its first weekend thanks to a strong trend on Saturday and Sunday which took the collections of the film to 35 crore nett over the weekend. The weekend is similar to DE DE PYAAR DE released earlier this year though the growth is more over the weekend and the costs are less than that film.

The film fared best in Delhi NCR though Mumbai could have done better though it picked up very well on Saturday. The film collected 10.25 crore nett in Mumbai circuit and 8.50 crore nett in Delhi/UP circuit. The business was not that great in UP barring some of the multiplexes but due to very good business in NCR the film put up a good Delhi/UP total.

The film should hold on Monday going by the weekend trend but its at what levels it can hold and there will be Moharrum to also help the collections a little.

CHHICHHORE had excellent growth on Saturday of around 70% to collect 11.75-12 crore nett. This takes the two day number of the film to 18.75 crore nett apprx and with the Sunday to come which should be up it will be a decent weekend for the film. The numbers will be just decent due to the first day but due this Saturday growth the trend will be strong unless Sunday does not come through.

This will give the film a chance to make up ground over the weekdays. The film is not costly so this second day ensures success for the film but for a HIT the weekdays and second Friday will be crucial for the film. The film saw huge growth in Mumbai circuit which was low on Friday which means that both the bigger areas of Mumbai and North should perform over the longer run.

CHHICHHORE collected 7 crore nett on its first day as it picked up in the evenings though the first day remains low. The collections are similar to KEDARNATH which was the last major film of Sushant Singh Rajput but that was at a higher GST rate which means the GROSS numbers of KEDARNATH were better.

This film will grow today due to the evening pick up on Friday and it could even be huge growth but as its a low start it will be down to the weekday numbers. The plus is the low costs of the film which and that coupled with the expected growth over the weekend will ensure some sort of success but major success depends on what happens after the weekend.

The film has done best in multiplexes of Delhi NCR and East Punjab and this is despite the film not being the good looking type which tend to out perform in these markets. The collections in Mumbai are disappointing at 2 crore nett and Gujarat/Saurashtra did not collect at all as SAAHO continued to lead there.

The figures in Delhi NCR and East Punjab were also 2 crore nett which is pretty decent collections but eventually Mumbai will have to perform is the film is to become a real success.
