The three naughty seniors of The Shaukeens — Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra — faced many challenges during the shoot of the film. Not only did they have to keep their “feelings” for the sexy Lisa Haydon in check throughout their movie outing, but also had to shoot in Chawri Bazaar, a full-fledged masala-selling market place in New Delhi. Piyush is shown as a masala trader in the film and while shooting the sequence, the actors were constantly sneezing, as the smell of the strong spices irritated their nostrils. To combat the smell, the trio even wore masks while rehearsing the scene. Not just that, Anupam and Annu had to cover their faces with handkerchiefs to keep themselves protected.
