CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR dominated the Hindi releases this week as it grossed around 42 crore nett. The film looks like being among the top ten Hollywood grossers in India.

The Hindi releases were led by the holdover BAAGHI as it grossed 12.50 crore nett in its second week taking its two week total to 72 crore nett. The film is a hit and the only Hindi film of the year so far to do well all over. The next best was 1920 LONDON which grossed 12.25 crore nett in week one and did average business at select mass centres. This film for some weird reason was actually released Overseas on decent number of screens and it never had a chance. The film will not even cover release costs in Overseas.

The other releases - ONE NIGHT STAND and TRAFFIC - were dull as the former grossed 3-3.25 crore nett and the latter 3.25-3.50 crore nett. TRAFFIC did pick up with such low starting point it makes little difference

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR had a fair hold on Monday. The drop was a little under 50%. The first four day of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR is as follows

The film will probably get a first week of around 41 crore nett and go over 50 crore nett for lifetime business. It should do a little better than BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE which was released a few weeks back.

The first week will be around 42 crore nett and the film is looking to be among the top ten grossing Hollywood films of all time in India.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR was flat on day two as the film hardly grew for its day one business. The business is still good despite the limited growth. The two day business of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR is as follows

The limited growth probably means that the film will probably not be a long runner but should put up a good lifetime number due to strong opening weekend which should be 26.50 crore nett plus.

The weekend is the fourth highest ever for Hollywood if only three days are taken. The film should do pretty well over the next week or so

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR had a very good first day grossing around 8.50 crore nett. The opening is the fourth highest ever for a Hollywood release. The top five are as follows.

2. The Avengers - Age Of Ultron
3. The Jungle Book
4. Captain America - Civil  War
5. Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice

The business of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR was hit down South due to the release of 24 but the film but scored very well in Mumbai and North.
