BULLETT RAJA had a poor first week collecting around 30.25 crore nett. Delhi/UP and Rajasthan had the best collections. These two circuits were not good or even average but compared to the dull collections in the rest of the country, the collections in Delhi/UP and Rajasthan were respectable. A 30 crore nett total is what is expected from a film like BULLETT RAJA over the weekend and not the week.

This year has seen so many small films like AASHIQUI 2, SHUDDH DESI ROMANCE and CHASHME BADDOOR go over 30 crore nett for in the first week. So a much higher total is expected of a 55-60 crore film like BULLETT RAJA. The weekday collections were steady at a some stations in Delhi/NCR and UP and that is where the film will have a major chunk of its week two collections coming from.

Meanwhile, GOLIYON KI RAASLEELA RAM-LEELA has grossed 107.50 crore nett approx as it collected around 10.25 crore nett in week three. The third week collections of the film are on par with the third week collections of KRRISH 3. In Mumbai circuit the film has proved to be a blockbuster and will be the eighth highest grossing film ever with lifetime collections in the 48-49 crore nett range and only behind the seven films which have crossed the 50 crore nett mark in Mumbai. The performance is totally different in the North with GOLIYON KI RAASLEELA RAM-LEELA not even in the top 30 grossers in Delhi/UP and a similar trend was seen in East Punjab.

BULLETT RAJA had a low first weekend as it collected around 21.25 crore nett. The film started slowly and failed to show any growth on Saturday which is a must for a film that does not open.

The business on Sunday was up around 15% from Saturday but the damage had been done. The film has done best in UP and Rajasthan but collections in Delhi city and Mumbai city was well below the mark. Mumbai circuit also underperformed but that was expected as it was a film based on crime in UP which has few few takers in Mumbai just like film on the Mumbai underworld have few takers in the North. The weekend breakdown was as follows.

BULLETT RAJA dropped on Monday as it collected around 3.25 crore nett taking its total to 24.50 crore nett. The film held up best in Delhi/UP with collections around 85-90 lakhs. It was the only circuit to drop less than 50% and collections in Delhi/UP were higher than Mumbai.

The first week should finish in the 31 crore nett range and not likely to add much more. The domination of GOLIYON KI RAASLEELA RAM-LEELA in the Gujarat area has affected Bullet Raja as the former had better collections in Gujarat on Sunday and Monday despite being in its third week.

BULLETT RAJA will probably wrap up in the 35 crore nett region for lifetime collections.
