Kangana Ranaut’s hairdresser held in sex scandal

Mumbai: The Khar police probing a sex scandal involving a minor boy on Friday arrested actress Kangana Ranaut’s hairdresser from Raigad district.
Bradan Alaster Diggy, 42, is South African. Diggy has been the hairdresser of the national award-winning Ranaut for the last few years and was with her on a set at Raigad when the Khar police arrested him. Diggy was arrested under the stringent Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO) and has been remanded to police custody.
He is the eighth accused to be arrested in the case so far. In July, a school teacher and a businessman were among those arrested in the rape complaint filed by the victim.
The police said the victim has named a few more persons, but the Khar police are first establishing their roles before arresting them. The investigating team has filed a chargesheet against two accused last month.
According to the police, the youth had joined an app posing as an adult and solicited sex. He clearly stated that he is only interested in men. After the information spread, people started approaching him and later had sex with him, said the police.
The case came to light when the boy’s mother one night saw an unknown man in her son’s room. The man claimed he was her son’s friend, but the mother grew suspicious. He later confessed to his mother.
