Final lifetime figures of Main Tera Hero & Bhoothnath Returns

MAIN TERA HERO has almost finished its run after four weeks and has
collected a healthy 53.04 crore nett and is likely to add another 5-10
lakhs nett in its remaining run as it is playing on very few theatres
in its fifth week. Its a decent final total as it did not start too
well but picked up and had a good two week run.
BHOOTHNATH RETURNS has not been so lucky as it has grossed 33.62
crore nett in three weeks and is also out of most cinemas and is
looking at a 34 crore nett finish.
BHOOTHNATH RETURNS had opened to a poor response but picked up
extremely well on Saturday and Sunday and managed a strong Monday due
to a holiday but after that collections crashed The film has done
somewhat better in Mumbai circuit which contributed more than 40% of it's business. Actually its a similar story with MAIN TERA HERO which has a 38% contribution from Mumbai and is a hit in the
circuit with business crossing 20 crore nett.

BHOOTHNATH RETURNS failed to make an impact at the box office as
collections came down fast after a holiday on Monday. The film had
surprisingly picked up very well on Saturday and consolidated with more
growth on Sunday while Monday was strong due to a holiday but then the
film slid down fast.
The film grossed around 26 crore nett over its first week and has seen further falls on its eight day. The business is holding well in Mumbai city and Delhi city but that will not help much.
BHOOTHNATH RETURNS which looked like it would cruise to over 40 crore nett after the big growth over the weekend and solid Monday will now struggle to hit the 35 crore nett mark.

MAIN TERA HERO will become the fourth highest grosser of the year after JAI HO, GUNDAY and QUEEN with lifetime business a over 50 crore nett. The film grossed around 12.84 crore nett in its second week taking its total to 48 crore nett.
The film will just edge out RAGINI MMS 2 which is the fourth highest grosser of the year at the moment. MAIN TERA HERO has scored well in Mumbai (due to Gujarat/Saurashtra belt) and Rajasthan and CP Berar.
The drop in week two is around 70%. The lifetime business of the film should go to around 18 crore nett in Mumbai circuit.

BHOOTHNATH RETURNS had better collections on Monday than Friday as it was a holiday in most of India for Ambedkar Jayanti. There were only a couple of states which did not have a holiday.
The film now has the chance to go near the 30 crore nett mark for the first week depending on the next few days. There is a big multiplex film 2 States releasing on Friday and that will affect BHOOTHNATH RETURNS as it is mainly doing well at multiplexes.

BHOOTHNATH RETURNS had low collections on Tuesday after doing good business over the Saturday to Monday period. There is normally a fall after a holiday but it was not a full out holiday on Monday and collections were not huge that a 50% fall should come the next day.
The film collected 1.75-2 crore nett on Tuesday taking its five day total to around 22.50 crore nett. The film had really surprised with huge growth on Saturday and Sunday despite reports not being so strong and even Monday was solid but Tuesday saw collections come down to low levels.
The film looked like it could touch 30 crore nett for the week they way it grew over the weekend but now the first week total seems to be heading for 26 crore nett approx. Hence, the film will find it hard to emerge a success.

BHOOTHNATH RETURNS showed good growth on Saturday with collections
around 5.50 crore nett as per early estimates. The two day collections
of the film are a little less than 9 crore nett.
The film showed growth of around 60% and it was needed after low
first day collections. BHOOTHNATH RETURNS now has a chance of
succeeding if it can follow up on Sunday and the weekdays. The growth
on Saturday was all over though the film is poor in single screens
therefore single screen dominated circuits had less growth.
The film should now comfortably beat the business of the first BHOOTHNATH film which did not look so easy after the low first day collections.

If the film could have shown this sort of a growth from a 20-25%
better first day it would have been a totally different story for the
film. Now the film is dependent on how well it can sustain over the
weekdays and second week.
The best business for the film was in Mumbai while Delhi/UP showed very good growth over the weekend. The film should have a strong Monday enabling it to put up a decent first week total.

which is good trending as the drop is just 70% from its first weekend. But the first weekend had underperformed.
The film has done its best business in Gujarat followed by Rajasthan.
The second week figures should surpass 10 crore nett which is a decent
total considering the competition of BHOOTHNATH RETURNS which picked
up significantly after a low start.
MAIN TERA HERO should do around 50 crore nett lifetime business which is pretty good. The film will be a semi hit if it goes to around 50 crore nett.

BHOOTHNATH RETURNS had a poor first day as it grossed around 3.25-3.50 crore
nett. The business of the film was better in Mumbai circuit. The mass circuits
did not gross well while East Punjab was hit by Punjabi film DISCO PUNJAB which
meant centres in Punjab had very low figures.
The film will show growth over Saturday and Sunday but unless the growth is huge and followed a strong run over the weekdays and second week only then the film has a chance..
BHOOTHNATH RETURNSs has fair reports but from this start it really needed good reports to have a chance of making a mark at the box office. Now it may even struggle to make the average mark..
