BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 did excellent business in the second week as it grossed 47 crore nett apprx taking its two week total to 138 crore nett. The drop from the first week is 48% which is fantastic. SOORYAVANSHI had collected 45.60 crore nett in the first week and GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI was 34.64 crore nett.

The lifetime business of the film depends on where the film lands up on the third Friday but it should be able to go upwards of 160 crore nett on a worse case scenario. The biggest comedy grossers ever are HOUSEFULL 4 and GOLMAAL AGAIN at 200 crore nett plus. Although those numbers are out of reach, it will become the fourth highest grossing comedy film after HOUSEFULL 4, GOLMAAL AGAIN and GOOD NEWWZ. The genre has only four films above the 150 crore nett mark and BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 will be the fifth one.

The outperformance of the film has come in CI as the film stands at 6.25 crore nett and it will cruise past the SOORYAVANSHI numbers here over the weekend. GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI's lifetime it had cleared in this circuit in 8 days. Kartik Aaryan films tend to outperform in CI and that can be seen with SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY, LUKA CHUPPI, PATI PATNI AUR WOH and now BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2. The Anees Bazmee-directorial also crossed the $2 million mark in US/Canada in two weeks which is huge for a film like this.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 continued to do well in its second week as it collected 4.75 crore nett on its second Tuesday. It is heading for s second week of 46-47 crore nett which would beat the 45.60 crore nett of SOORYAVANSHI.

The film has also crossed the SOORYAVANSHI numbers in Delhi/UP which makes that circuit the second one to go above SOORYAVANSHI after East Punjab. It is possible that all circuits except Mumbai and the South ones can go above SOORYAVANSHI or will be very close at the least. The lifetime business of the film is probably looking to be in the 160-170 range.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 had an outstanding hold on Monday as the film dropped less than 15% on its second Monday compared to its second Friday. The film collected 5.50 crore nett taking its lifetime total to 125 crore nett.

The second week of the film will be the best for original Hindi content as it will beat the second week numbers of SOORYAVANSHI. The dubbed South films KGF - CHAPTER 2 and RRR have higher second weekend numbers.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 also has similar business to GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI after eleven days. It is lagging GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI mainly in Mumbai and South but should go ahead in Mumbai by the end of its run though in South, it will probably remain less.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 recorded a second weekend of almost 30 crore nett which is a 45% drop off from last week. The film showed huge growth on Saturday but Sunday probably got hit by the IPL final and growth generally was weak for all releases though BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 by far had the best growth.

The film now stands at 120 crore nett and should comfortably cross the 150 crore nett mark. The numbers of GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI should be beaten over the next two days while it has beaten the lifetime numbers of SOORYAVANSHI in East Punjab. Delhi/UP will follow before the end of the week. It could even beat the lifetime numbers of SOORYAVANSHI in CI which would be pretty insane.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 had an outstanding Saturday as collections showed a huge jump and collected around the 11 crore nett mark. This takes the film to 107 crore nett and now it looks certain to cross the 150 crore nett mark.

The jump was across the board and even Hindi belt circuits were showing huge growth while the bigger multiplexes are a given on Saturday. Some cinemas were more than double of Friday in the bigger cities. This huge growth on Saturday may mean less growth on Sunday but a 30 crore nett second weekend should be there at a minimum and that is the highest for original Hindi content post pandemic beating SOORYAVANSHI.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 had a good hold on its second Friday as it collected 6.25 crore nett which is a 15% drop from the previous day. The film collected very strongly post the afternoon probably because the reports of the other films were not up to the mark and BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 became the first choice.

The second week numbers of SOORYAVANSHI were 45 crore nett and this film can actually challenge that number depending on how the weekend growth is. SOORYAVANSHI has the highest second weekend for original Hindi films post pandemic. Only RRR and KGF - CHAPTER 2 have managed higher numbers. It will be no surprise if BHOOL BHULAIYAA surpasses the numbers of SOORYAVANSHI in the second week.
