BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 had a very good fifth week of 7.25 crore nett. But it did see drops post the fifth weekend and this is probably the first time that the film has shown noticeable drops since its started its run five weeks back.

It has been a huge run for the as it stands at around 180 crore nett after five weeks and there well be another 3-5 crore nett to come. The fifth week number of the film may just about be in the top ten fifth weeks though it should have comfortably got here if it was not for the drops post Monday. BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 has done 55 crore nett in Mumbai and 45 crore nett in Delhi/UP so far.

The collections of BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 till date are as follows.

Week One - 90,78,00,000

Week Two - 49,23,00,000

Week Three - 20,47,00,000

Week Four - 12,00,00,000 apprx 

Fifth Week - 7,25,00,000 apprx

The new release this week, NIKAMMA, was poor with very low collections on weekdays as it grossed around 1.75 crore nett over its first week. The film had a very South feel to it and that is reflected in the collections of the film.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 collected an excellent 5 crore nett in its fifth weekend to take its total to 177.50 crore nett and it is looking a huge fifth week total which will be there among the top ten fifth weeks ever. This will mean three of top fifth weeks ever have come in the last few months as KGF - CHAPTER 2 (Hindi) and RRR (Hindi) also made it into this list.

This has mainly happened due to the lack of competition in terms of other good films which is allowing longer run for the appreciated films. BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 saw a streaming release this week but that will not affect the collections of the film and it will continue on a normal trajectory until the release of JUGJUGG JEEYO this week.

Sunday - 2,25,00,000 apprx

The new release this week NIKAMMA took a beating as it grossed around 1.25 crore nett over its first weekend. The film collected around 35-40 lakhs nett on day one and growth was not there over the weekend. There was no face value.  So any sort of decent opening numbers were always unlikely.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 is heading for a huge fifth week which could compare with films like DANGAL, KABIR SINGH and TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR as collections remains rock steady. The film did not see a drop on its fifth Friday as collections remained similar to Thursday with 1 crore nett.

This takes total collections of the film to 173.50 crore nett and now it looks like the film is heading for an 185 crore nett finish. This also now means it will beat SOORYAVANSHI all over India except Mumbai, CP Berar, Nizam/Andhra, Assam and Odisha. Basically apart from Assam, its the block where South films have a better market and Rohit Shetty films outperform in this block.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 is going to set a target for all other Hindi films this year and normally this 185 crore odd would hardly be a target but as content is generally behind the times, there will not be many films which will have even a chance to surpass this target. Hopefully a couple of films surpass the 200 crore nett mark this year but it would be no surprise if it did not happen. But better results await next year as the fresher content arrives.
