BAAGHI 2 grossed a good 10.50 crore nett in its third week and took its three week total to 154 crore nett making it the 19th highest nett grosser ever. It will remain in 19th place as the 18th position film is KRRISH 3 at 175 crore nett.

The drop in the third week is 68% which is a little better than the second week which saw a drop of around 71%. The film is the highest grossing film of 2018 in Bihar, Assam, Odisha and Rajasthan, the last mentioned is because PADMAAVAT did not release in this circuit. PADMAAVAT did not release in Gujarat also but despite that BAAGHI 2 is not able to match the collections of PADMAAVAT in Mumbai circuit (Gujarat is a sub circuit of Mumbai)

The film should be able to add another 4-5 crore nett over the remaining weeks of its run which will take it close to the 160 crore nett mark.

The holdover from last week BLACKMAIL has fared poorly with collections of 3.25 crore nett apprx in week two which is a 80% drop and gives it a total 18.50 crore nett. The film could add another 1 crore nett on a best case scenario.

BAAGHI 2 is heading for a solid third week total of around 10.50 crore nett as it grosses 8.75 crore nett plus over five days in its third week. The total so far for the film is 152.50 crore nett and after three weeks it will be 154 crore nett plus.

There will be another week to add business before AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR hits the theaters so the lifetime of the film looks to be settling at around 158 crore nett with an outside chance of 160 crore nett. Considering the first BAAGHI film did 76 crore nett, a 100 crore nett plus total was there for the taking with BAAGHI 2 but this film has probably surpassed the most optimistic expectations.

BAAGHI 2 grossed crossed the 150 crore nett mark in seventeen days as it grossed 6.75 crore nett in its third weekend to take its total to 150.25 crore nett apprx. The film has seen a 67% apprx drop in its third weekend which is a little better than the second week drop..

It has become the 19th film to cross the 150 crore nett mark and is the lowest budget film to cross this mark. The lifetime business of the film may finish around the 160 crore nett mark as there is still some gas left in the tank and should get a healthy forth week before AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR arrives in the last week of April .

BAAGHI 2 grossed 2.25 crore nett apprx on its third Saturday which takes it business to over 147 crore nett. The 50% growth on Saturday is excellent as the film is not doing its best business at the high end multiplexes which have the most growth on Saturday.

The film is on the verge of 150 crore nett and it will be the only second film to go over this mark without a major holiday release (Xmas, Eid, Diwali, Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti). Although there may be no films over 150 crore nett on some of the dates above they are the big national holidays.

Despite being a front loaded mass action film it could still have some legs left even after third week as it is a weak period in terms of flow of releases.

BAAGHI 2 remains strong on its third Friday with collections in the 1.50 crore nett range which takes the total business of the film to nearly 145 crore nett. It could be that the film crosses 150 crore nett by the end of the weekend and it will be the 19th film to achieve this and the one with the lowest budget.

There was a major new release OCTOBER but that had a different target audience so BAAGHI 2 continued to dominate across all mass centers of India. The way the film has trended on the third Friday it could be that that the third week will see a smaller drop than the second week but that will depend on the growth on Saturday and Sunday.
