BAAGHI 2 has had an extraordinary first week of 111.75 crore nett and for a film for its size it is just huge as it covers its production cost and PA with the first week India theatrical share. The share will be around 57-58 crore.

The film had a huge start of 25 crore nett but the key has been how well the film has held post Monday as these mass action films are front loaded. The business is outstanding all over with Mumbai at 34 crore nett plus. Delhi/UP has around 23 crore nett and East Punjab has grossed around 10 crore nett.

Bihar is huge at 6 crore nett while West Bengal where generally single screens don't collect well for Hindi films is at 4.85 crore as single screens did collect for this one. Basically every circuit is outstanding. A Tamil Nadu/Kerala has gone to 2.25 crore where most films don't even collect 1 crore nett. RAID was just 70 lakhs nett.

Now the second Friday will decide how big this film will become. It will domiate the box office this week but its not about but how big are the second week collections.

BAAGHI 2 grossed another solid 8.75 crore nett on Wednesday to take its total to a huge 104 crore and make it the second highest grossing film of 2018 in just six days. The film should add around the 8 crore nett on Thursday to take its total to 112 crore nett for the week which is outstanding. Although there is a little drop over the last two days the numbers are still huge.

The numbers remain strong across the board with even a circuit like Mysore hitting the 4 crore nett mark in just sixt days and this circuit is dominated by multiplexes where content films are preferred over mass films unless its a BAAHUBALI. The key will be that Thursday to Friday drop and that will decide how far the film goes in terms of lifetime business.

BAAGHI 2 had another strong day as it had another day over 10 crore nett with business in the 10.50 crore nett range. This has taken the film to 95.25 crore nett and it is already the third highest grosser of the year in just five days and will be second after business today.

The drop is around 10-12% from the previous day which is solid trending and the first week total looks to be heading for 114 crore nett. There are not many films which post 10 crore nett plus totals on weekdays when it is not holiday periods and also ticket rates here are at weekday rates and not enhanced rates which some films have.

BAAGHI 2 is sure shot super hit and and the wait is for the Friday to see if it emerges a blockbuster. It should hold well enough but action films are front loaded and do shows drops at some point.

BAAGHI 2 grossed a huge 11.75 crore nett on Monday with the film suffering due to bandhs in many cities across the country. The film probably lost around 1 crore nett due to this and fair value for the Monday could be 12.50-13 crore nett.

The film could make up some of this business over the weekdays. Tuesday should remain steady with chance of a 5% less drop than it would otherwise. The drop is under 55% from the first day which was a holiday so in real terms the drop is more towards the 40-45% range. The total business of the film is 84.75 crore nett and it will become the second highest grossing film of the year in six days. The week is looking to be around 115 crore nett.

BAAGHI 2 has had extraordinary first weekend of 73 crore nett apprx with many single screens recording highest weekend figures of all time. The multiplex numbers may not be record breaking but are still huge. The film had brand value and an action filled trailer so the initial was going to come but it has gone to level which was unthinkable.

The Sunday numbers are monstrous considering the huge number on day one which was a holiday so to go above that first day number means that the mass markets have take to the film. The film grossed a huge 21 crore nett plus in Mumbai and around 15 nett plus in Delhi/UP. East Punjab was 6.75 crore nett plus. Bihar was an ALL TIME RECORD at 3.75 crore nett plus (higher than BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION in terms of NETT collections though not GROSS).

The weekend itself ensures a HIT film as no matter what happens the film is crossing the 50 share mark. The first test is Monday and on the trend it should hold well especially outside the metros. Then if the Monday holds it will be down to the second Friday which will tell how far this film can go.

The figures of BAAGHI (2016) which were 76.06 crore nett have been almost beaten in the weekend itself. It will be the biggest Tiger Shroff film by Monday and even in adjusted figures it will probably be the biggest Tiger Shroff film by the end of business on Monday.

BAAGHI 2 had another fantastic day as it picked up 20.50 crore nett apprx after the huge 25 crore nett on day one. This takes its two day total to 45.50 crore nett and it is already the second highest weekend of the year in just two days after PADMAAVAT.

The drop was coming after as it was a holiday on day one but considering how the first day was this drop of around 17-18% is hardly anything. The film could easily make up this drop and more on Sunday if the mass comes again like on the first day. Even if it is unable to go to first day levels it will still have chances to emerge a blockbuster.

The film could be among the top fifteen weekend of all time which will a huge achievement for BAAGHI 2 and many of the films above it will be the Eid, Diwali and Christmas films. The all India numbers may be lower than TIGER ZINDA HAI but at many single screens it has recorded higher collections than that film over the first two days.

In fact in some cinemas in UP and Bihar it has set ALL TIME RECORDS and this includes beating the mighty BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION which shows how big the film is in these places initially.
