AZHAR has fared poorly all over as it only really got some collections in its first week. Around 90% of its business was in the first week. The business of of AZHAR till date is as follows

AZHAR had a big drop in business with second week looking to be 90% down on week one. The business of of AZHAR till date is as follows

The final business of the film will be in the 32 crore nett range which is similar to what the last Emraan Hashmi release HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI grossed.

AZHAR had a low first week of 28.25 crore nett as the collections dropped on the weekdays after a not so good weekend. The first week collections are still better than the lifetime collections of all Emraan Hashmi films since RAAZ 3 barring HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI which grossed 33 crore nett. It should be able to edge past that film in the next week or so.

The film fared best in Nizam/Andhra with a little under 2 crore nett. Mumbai clocked a figure of around 9 crore nett while Delhi /UP was 5.75 crore nett. The film should have done better but Saturday proved to be a big let down as the film just did not grow and after that it was always going to be difficult.

The film should continue in theatres till the release of the next big film HOUSEFULL 3 in a couple of weeks time but collections will be low.

AZHAR had a noticeable drop on Monday as collections dropped around 55% from Friday. The four day business of AZHAR is as follows

The film is doing bit better in the mass circuits but the big multiplexes in the cities have not fared well. The first week will finish at around 29 crore nett.

AZHAR managed to hold on Tuesday with a 10% drop from the previous day but the damage had been done on Saturday and Monday. The five day business of AZHAR is as follows

AZHAR will gross around 29 crore nett in week one and lifetime will depend on where it lands on its second Friday. The most likely case is a 35 crore nett apprx finish.

AZHAR grossed 20 crore nett plus on its first weekend but the trend was not really there. The business is okay in a couple of sectors but overall collections should have been better or at least better growth on Satuday. The weekend business of Azhar is as follows

The film had best figures in Gujarat and Nizam/Andhra. The only real plus is a weak release schedule till HOUSEFULL 3 in early June and if Monday can have a hold it can benefit from that.

AZHAR grossed 6-6.25 crore nett on its first day. The film should have been a little higher but but could not show any major growth at the big multiplexes in the evening. The film had opened better than films like KAPOOR & SONS and KI & KA but the evening growth was lower than those films.

The best collections for the film came in Nizam/Andhra which will top 40 lakhs nett and Mumbai which will be around 2 crore nett. The film was low in Delhi city, East Punjab and the Eastern India markets.

The film will have to show growth of 20-25% on Saturday which would probably give it a chance to have a decent run at the box office due to lack of releases in the next few weeks. The opening is the highest for an Emraan Hashmi starrer since RAAZ 3 which came in 2012.
