(Crisp) Movie Review: ANDAAZ 2 by FENIL SETA
4:45 PM
Andaaz 2 consists of a great music album. Every song in the film is melodious and each one of them is well picturized, especially 'Rabba Ishq Na Hove 2.0'. The basic plot is promising and the first half is alright. However, the film falters in the second half when the love triangle is relegated to the backseat and the hero's family crisis takes centre stage. After a point, even the love story gets messy. The villain track is needlessly added to the narrative. Newcomer Aayush Kumar looks dashing and delivers a sincere performance. Aakaisha is cute and gives a fine performance, too. Natasha Fernandez has a strong screen presence and deserves more screen time. Sanjay Mehandiratta (Vikas) is laughable in the first half but gets better later on. Srikant Maski (Tony) and Parmarth Singh (Ehsaan) are lovely as the hero's friends. Bharat Bhatia (Bansal) leaves a mark, while Jeetu Verma (Yeda Anna) and Dolly Bindra (Dolly) are bad. All in all, Andaaz 2 fails to impress.

Suneel Darshan introduces Aayush Kumar, Akaisha, Natasha Fernandez with Andaaz 2
3:58 PM
BOMBAY TIMES (December 14, 2023)
Writer-filmmaker Suneel Darshan, who launched the acting careers of beauty queens Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra opposite Akshay Kumar in the 2003 hit Andaaz, is all set to introduce three new faces – Aayush Kumar, Akaisha and Natasha Fernandez – in his next offering Andaaz 2.
The filmmaker says, “Andaaz 2 is quite close to my earlier movie bearing the same title in spirit, yet it is a totally fresh take in all other aspects. It is an entertainer with a glamorous sugar-coating. It also focuses on social, emotional and societal issues with a fantastic original music score rendered by several new-age vocalists. The choreography, too, is brilliant and will surpass my earlier hits. As for the lead trio, it’s exciting to work in the environment and positivity they bring to the screen.”
The movie features original songs composed by Nadeem of Nadeem-Shravan fame and lyrics by Sameer and Nadeem. The choreography is by Raju Khan and Vikas Singh is the executive producer. Andaaz 2 is a Shree Krishna International presentation.
