Amy Jackson announced her engagement to long-time boyfriend George Panayiotou on January 1, 2019, on social media. The couple, however, isn’t in a hurry to walk down the aisle. “Amy and George want to tie the knot in early-2020. It will be a Greek wedding,” says a source.

The 2.0 actress and her fiancé have already kicked off the preparations for a destination wedding. “After considering several locations, they decided on Greece because she wanted a beach-side venue for her special day. They are looking at villas near Mykonos Island and will tie the knot as per Christian rituals. Amy fell in love with the beautiful locale when she visited it last year with her husband-to-be,” the source adds. The shaadi will be attended by a few close friends and family members. It remains to be seen if Amy will host a reception for her friends and colleagues in Bollywood and the Southern film industry. “She plans to settle in the UK after getting married,” the source tells us.

This year, as many as three Bollywood actors are likely to settle into marital bliss. It has been reported that Sonam Kapoor plans to tie the knot with boyfriend Anand Ahuja in the next few months and Varun Dhawan also wants his relationship with girlfriend Natasha Dalal to culminate into marriage. Now, Amy Jackson, the leading lady of films like Singh Is Bliing and the upcoming Rajinikanth-starrer 2.0, has joined the list.

Amy had been sharing several pictures with her boyfriend on social media, but she decided to make her relationship official when she wished the hunk on Valentine’s Day. For those not in the know, she is dating multi-millionaire George Panayiotou. He is the son of British property developer Andreas Panayiotou who owns a chain of luxury hotels. George assists his father in the family business and is also the founder of PlayGround nightclub at Liverpool.

The duo has been together for quite sometime. One of her contemporaries confirms the development, saying, “Amy has been in a steady relationship for the longest time now. She just didn’t want to open up about her personal life to the public. She kept her affair hidden from the prying eyes of the media for a long time.” 

The model-turned-actress is also set to take the plunge soon. Adds our source, “Amy and George are a happy couple. She always wanted to have a family of her own. She’s planning to get married sometime later this year. The couple is currently deciding on the date and venue for their D-Day.”

Our source states that the British actress has been planning this for a while. “Amy wanted to tie the knot last year. But it didn’t work out then. Finally, now they are chalking out a plan.” So, the leggy lass will turn missus by the end of 2018!
